OUR MISSION:


The Second Wind Foundation exists to promote health and social welfare among seniors and the very elderly, helping them maintain their vitality, creativity, self-sufficiency and independence.

It will help seniors to remain as contributing members of their families, their communities and the society as a whole by promoting methods for physical health and positive mindset.

Second Wind Foundation was started in 2005 and granted not-for-profit status in 2007.  Its founder and director is Gonthar S. Rooda, DC.   Dr. Rooda is responsible for securing funding, grant writing, marketing and promotion consistent with being a chief executive officer. The body of the foundation is its clients, dedicated listeners, donors and supporters who live out in the community actively choosing to age with foresight and commitment.
